Are game screenshots taken with Xbox Game Bar saved in the same location?

No, they are located in an alternate place. They are available through the Xbox Game Bar (Win + G), the list of your captures, or going to the folder through the user Directory Videos > Captures. It is independent of the normal Screenshots folder.
