  1. I didn’t have any expectations concerning that title, but the more I was astonished. The author did a great job. I spent a few minutes reading and checking the facts. Everything is very clear and understandable. I like posts that fill in your knowledge gaps. This one is of the sort.

  2. I did this and got a TERRIBLE stomach ache. I tried to give it benefit of a doubt since it’s yogurt instead of milk so maybe the soaking time is different, or so I thought. But it’s not. Don’t ever eat chia seeds that haven’t been soaked for atleast 8 hours. The chia will absorb your stomach acid if it’s not soaked enough. Don’t try this!!

    1. Hi there, sorry to hear about your experience. Have you tried chia seeds that have soaked for longer? I know my mother is allergic to chia seeds and it runs in our family, if she eats them *at all* she gets the most awful stomach pain. It’s not uncommon for that reaction, not every stomach can handle these little seeds. They are so awesome if you can handle them but the allergy is real.
